ADVANTAGES

  • Procedure is comprehensively simple.
  • The risk of side branch obstruction is low.

LIMITATIONS

  • It is difficult to determine the position of side branch stent
  • the side branch wiring, does not always lead to positive outcomes.
  • The dilation of side branch ostium is limited due to the design of using stents.

CONCLUSION

  • What happens in reality is far more complicated than what we see at laboratory.
  • The methods that don’t give a sufficient result on basic research would hardly be useful in actual clinical cases.
  • Far different results would be obtained, all depending on the “diameter of vessel” “Angle of Bifurcation” “Technique” “stent type”, and moreover, the operator’s skill.
