AIM
In clinic practice plaques are also observed at the high shear stress carina (Sianos, Eurorinterv. ‘05)
- Hypothesis:
- If plaque is present at high shear stress regions, it will be due to circumferential growth from a low shear stress region
- Aim:
- In-vivo minimal-invasive assessment of plaque distribution near bifurcations with multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT).
