LIMITATIONS

  1. Bifurcation lesions with SB stenosis at baseline were not included.
  2. The number of LMT bifurcation lesions was very small.
  3. Physiological significance of angiographic worsening of SB stenosis was not evaluated.

CONCLUSION

  1. FD-OCT guidance should be considered in the assessment of paDents with bifurcation lesions, especially in those with angiographically ambiguous anatomy.
  2. The evaluation of the bifurcation lesions with longitudinal reconstruction FD-OCT image may allow us to predict the occurrence of SB compromise during procedure.
  3. Narrower CT angle and shorter BP-CT length were the independent predictors for the acute SB ostial compromise after cross-over single stenting.
  4. The role of OCT guided bifurcation stenting should be prospectively evaluated in terms of the long-term outcome.
