Author: Azeem Latib MD, MO-GVM Centro Cuore Columbus and San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan, Italy

KEY MESSAGES

  • BVS implanted with an optimal technique in bifurcations is associated with acceptable outcomes at 1-year
  • No early or mid-term signal of harm from double scaffold strategies
  • However, a hybrid strategy may be associated with less TLR as compared to a double scaffold strategy
  • Currently completing follow-up to have longer- term clinical data for this cohort
