My thoughts…on struts across SB ostia
- Angiography gives no information about stent struts across SB ostia. 3D-OCT helps define this.
- Stent struts across the SB ostia, will develop neo-intimal proliferation after some time.
- Hence presence of a strut / connector across SB ostia, may be a predictor of SB restenosis.

After Crossover stenting of the LM or LAD, a strut across the SB on OCT should be an indication to kiss, even if the ostia is not compromised on angiography
