Coronary bifurcation bench test using multimodality imaging: Potential risks of re-POT sequence for stent jailing at side branch ostium

Author: Teruyoshi Kume, Kawasaki Medical School, Kurashiki, Japan

PUROPSE

The purpose of this study was to compare SB jailing ratio of stent struts at a jailed SB ostium during re-POT sequence using OCT and videoscopic observations among 4 different coronary stents

CONCLUSION

SB jailing ratio was significantly increased after second POT procedure. Balloon position during second-POT procedure might be important to avoid stent struts jailing at SB ostium.
