Critical importance of balloon position during final POT

AIM
We aim to show that balloon position across the SB during final POT may cause
- reduction of ostial SB area, and
- re-jailing of the SB ostium
CONCLUSION
- Final POT with the balloon positioned across the SB caused a reduction in ostial SB cell area
- The largest reduction was seen in procedures with proximal rewiring, explained by re- jailing of the SB by an induced metallic carina
- Final POT with the distal end of the balloon positioned proximal to the SB takeoff only showed a reduction in 6% of cases
