i-BiOSS Study with the BiOSS Stent in Non-LM Bifurcations

CONCLUSION

• BiOSS dedicated bifurcation device demonstrated no safety issues and relatively high efficacy on inhibiting NIH at late month FU in patients with de novo non-LM bifurcation lesions
• Results consistent with previous clinical trials
• Optimal double stenting approach still to be determined
• Multi-imaging invasive analyses at 9-month FU suggested no significant negative impact of intermediary zone in terms of recurrences, but question remains on the optimal technique for double stenting approach
• OCT and IVUS demonstrated high correlation (Pearson r > 0.70) for critical metrics within the stent, including MLD, MLA and MSA
