CONCLUSION
- For most bifurcations you need larger over expansion and side cell expansion than the vessel size you are treating
- Over expansion of stents increases strength and reduces recoil
- Connectors positioned in the side branch lead to crossing difficulties and inability to displace struts in the side branch
- Fewer connectors maximize side branch expansion capability & minimize the probability for a connector to be positioned in a side branch
