CONCLUSION
- There is no excess of side branch restenosis when only one stent is used.
- If a second stent is used there is a trend for a higher risk of reintervention and stent thrombosis.
- So why not using a strategy of provisional side branch stenting.
- And if the side branch need to be treated, use a second stent.
