CONCLUSION

  • There is no excess of side branch restenosis when only one stent is used.
  • If a second stent is used there is a trend for a higher risk of reintervention and stent thrombosis.
  • So why not using a strategy of provisional side branch stenting.
  • And if the side branch need to be treated,  use a second stent.
