WHEN?
- All cases except:
- Those in which wiring the side branch was extremely difficult
- Those in which the pa6ent will not tolerate temporary poor perfusion in either territory
- This does not mean that you may not end up with two stents in other cases, but it does mean that the approach is provisional and stepwise
CONCLUSION
The provisional strategy remains the gold standard approach to LM bifurcations
